WX Brands offers a unique portfolio of wine brands that are sold both domestically and globally. WX also develops exclusive wine brands for retailers around the world. Products are sourced from 14 countries and sold in 20 countries resulting in over 3 million cases sold worldwide. In February 2021, Wine Business Monthly named WX Brands #14 among the Top 50 US wine companies.
In June 2020, WX Brands created a Diversity & Inclusivity Task Force that consisted of a diverse group of individuals from all functions within the organization. The D&I task force is committed to educating themselves and WX Brands to make our communities in which we live better and more inclusive. The group’s effort has resulted in multiple initiatives, beginning with an Unconscious Bias training with an outside vendor that was delivered to the entire organization in August of 2020.
The task force also created an internship program for 4 individuals specifically targeting underrepresented minorities in the wine industry that kicks off this upcoming summer. One individual will be given the Tony Moreno Scholarship grant, named after one of our beloved sales leaders who passed away earlier this year but left an indelible legacy of inclusivity and promotion of diversity.
Other initiatives the company has taken on include creating webinars during our all-hands company meetings, most recently with a presentation on Women’s Equal Pay Day, where the team learned about the inequities in gender pay in the corporate world. In addition, WX Brands has changed to their recruiting and hiring practices to drive more diversity.
