Jarvis Communications, Inc. was founded in 2005 with a goal of creating and managing strategic public relations programs for companies, people and brands in the wine, spirits, restaurant and travel industries. We focus on media relations because we believe that positive media coverage is an essential component of any marketing and sales strategy. We pitch the publications consumers read, the radio shows they tune in to, and the television shows they watch, creating an awareness in the media and public at-large that positively impacts our clients’ businesses, brands, profiles, reputations and bottom line. Physically, our offices are in Los Angeles. Strategically, our media outreach is worldwide. Our team of ten people has a vast network of media relationships from local to national press, ranging from traditional wine to food, entertainment, travel, business and lifestyle. We love what we do. We believe that good wine, food and travel make life better. Our mission is to spread the word.

Jarvis Communications
With media relations as a focus for us at Jarvis Communications, we believe that our greatest impact as a PR firm is to encourage our clients, whether they be wineries, distilleries, or travel companies to commit to programs and actions which encourage diversity and inclusion. Through this encouragement we strive to bring awareness to implicit bias that we have observed in their businesses, language, and actions. While we believe we have a long way to go, we have created many open dialogues which over time we hope will incite a change of thinking, awareness and point of view.
Jarvis Communications is committed to creating safe, empowered workspaces for its employees and members to dialogue about diversity and inclusion, confronting and dismantling all forms of discrimination within our organization and ultimately striving to be industry role models through sharing narratives of successes, challenges and missteps as well as encouraging others within the industry to take initiatives towards diversity and inclusion.
