DIVERSE About US In September 2020, we are producing a webinar series entitled "Reimaging our Industry". This series aims to explore and demystify the many challenges and privileges that various marginalized professionals in our community face, be they Black, indigenous, LGBTQIA+, minority ethnic, members of the disability community, or from other historically marginalized communities. Led by experts and experienced professionals, these discussions provide the tools and resources needed to build a more equal and equitable food and beverage industry.

Diversity in Wine and Spirits
In June 2020 Diversity in Food and Beverage embarked on creating webinars aimed toward promoting, advocating, and supporting diversity and inclusion within the international food and beverage industry. In cooperation with SommCon, the webinar entitled "Unheard Voices in Wine" explored the experiences of Black wine professionals. We made history that day as it was the first-ever panel of all black wine professionals at a major wine conference.

Our first webinar from the series, "Reimagining Our Industry with Accessibility" features several F&B professionals who are part of the disability community. The panelists will provide ways companies and establishments can improve their disability diversity, discuss how to create more inclusive and accessible spaces, and highlight organizations that provide valuable resources. All proceeds from this webinar will fund the DIFB Accessibility Grant. This grant is designed to facilitate disabled individuals who require assistance to advance or sustain their professional lives and education journey. The DIFB Accessibility Grant is slated for launch in June 2021.
